Joe Hudgins
Board Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Joe has over 12 years of solar industry experience, including Vice President of Worldwide Operations for BP Solar where he delivered the strategy and implemented the design, construction, start-up and operations of three wafer fabrication plants and eight solar plants in five countries: making BP Solar #2 in the world in 2004. Joe is a recognized solar industry innovator; he was one of the first in the industry to apply proven disciplines from the semiconductor industry to solar operations. He served on the Board of Tata BP Solar in India and BP Solar Espana.

In addition, Joe has provided international clean tech services for business and operations for numerous global clients, including supply chain, due diligence, site selection, plant assessment and turn around.

Prior to his solar industry experience, Joe spent 20 years in the Semiconductor industry: as Operations Manager for Mostek Corporation and General Manager for Cypress Semiconductor in Round Rock, TX.

Joe has a BS degree from Abilene Christian University, majors in Business Economics and Political Science.

Dr. Richard Wirt
Board Member
Dr. Richard Wirt, M.S., Ph.D., is a senior technology executive with 35 years of experience in the computer industry. Richard created and led the Intel software group from its beginnings in 1982: growing it to a 3000 person, worldwide operation in 2007.

As Vice President and General Manager of Intel Corporation's Software and Solutions Group, he worked closely with Intel Capital, leading numerous successful worldwide investments, including 10 large acquisitions of software companies.

In 2007 Dr. Wirt also served as Chief Scientist and Executive Vice President at In-Q-Tel, a technology investment group that supports the U.S. government. He is a Co-founder of Oxantium Ventures, who currently has investments in Solar Array Ventures; EnerTech Environmental; Avanto; RFnano; iMove; and E.A.R.T.H., Inc. Richard also serves on several Board of Directors.
